Mon-Fri, 3pm - 8pm
Sat-Sun, 12 noon - 8pm

Our rehabilitation programs are designed with your individual needs and goals in mind. We will help improve the quality of life in your daily activities to increase independence.

The Inpatient Medical Rehabilitation Unit is designed to serve patients 18 years of age and older with functional needs in the area(s) of self-care, movement and mobility, walking, communication, cognition / thinking or bowel and bladder management typically found with these conditions:

  • Stroke

  • Brain Injury/Surgery

  • Spinal Cord Injury/Surgery

  • Amputation

  • Polyarthritis, including Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Neurological Disorders (such as: Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsonism, Guillain-Barre', Muscular Dystrophy, Polyneuropathy, Neuro- muscular Disorders, etc.)

  • Fracture of Femur (Hip Fracture)/Knee Joint Surgery

  • Major Multiple Trauma

  • Other Conditions Requiring Rehabilitation

Occupational Therapy

Our focus is on helping patients regain their functional independence and improving abilities in the following areas:

  • Activities of daily living

  • Adaptive Equipment

  • Behavioral/Mental Health

  • Cognitive Skills

  • Neuromuscular Rehabilitation

  • Visual/Perceptual Skills

  • Work- Related Skills


Speech Therapy

We specialize in helping patients regain their functional communication skills in the following areas:

  • Articulation problems

  • Voice disorders

  • Auditory comprehension skills

  • Cognitive retraining: attention, memory and reasoning skills

  • Speech and language disorders


Physical Therapy

Emphasis is on the examination and treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular problems that affect function and movement, addressing the following areas:

  • Pain Management

  • Wound Care

  • Biofeedback for Women's Incontinence

  • Orthotics and Prosthetics

  • Therapeutic Exercise and Functional Training

Recreational Therapy

Recreational therapy utilizes a wide range of interventions and techniques to improve the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and leisure needs of their patients. A recreational therapist works with the patient, their family members and others significant to the improvement of their health condition. Recreational therapists assist clients to develop skills, knowledge and behaviors for daily living and community involvement. The goal of recreational therapy is to restore, remediate or rehabilitate in order to improve functioning and independence as well as reduce or eliminate the effects of illness or disability.
